Where to go & What to do in Trang?
The easiest way to explore Trang’s city is to leisurely stroll along the main roads: Rama VI Rd., Na Talad Rd., and Ruen Rom Rd. (known as Trang’s Centre Point where lively evening market located). Live like a ‘Trang-er’ by tasting original Trang-style breakfast, walking through our colourful morning market, and taking Trang’s Tuk Tuk.
As for our famous natural attractions, these are the most convenient ways to tour around: renting a car/ van (driver included) or joining tour packages offered by various travel agencies.

| Day1 | Lay Cave – Yongling Beach – Pak Meng Beach |
| Morning | Explore Lay Cave, Huay Yod District, a fresh water cave with stunning stalactites and stalagmites. Feel your racing heart beat when local rowers take you through ‘Tham Lod’. |
| Afternoon | Head to Yong Ling beach, a curvy beach with elegant scene of limestone cliff. Great place to relax, swim, and sunbathe. You are advised to bring your own afternoon snack and drinks since the shops in the nearby areas are difficult to find. |
| Evening | Watching a romantic sunset at Pakmeng Beach while having dinner at local restaurants. |
| To get there: | From Trang City to Lay Cave only 40 minutes by car, van rental available at tour service counter. |
| Day 2 | Islands Hopping: Emerald Cave on Mook Island – Cheauk Island – Ma Island – Kradan Island |
| (full day tour package, lunch inclusive) Transfer to the pier. Embark and head to the Emerald Cave. Be stunned by emerald green sea and a small beach hidden inside. Snorkel at Cheuak Island and Ma Island, full of colourful soft coral and fishes. Visit Kradan Island, rich diversity of coral and fishes are a common scene. | |
| To get there: | It is advisable to contact our Tour Service Counter for tour package information or van rental to the pier. Travelers who wish to use public transportation should go to Pak Meng taxi queue near Tha Klang Market (map available at Tour Service Counter) |
| Day 3 | Trang Morning Market - Trang style breakfast – Canopy Walk – Ton Te Waterfall |
| Morning | Start your morning with lively atmosphere at the morning market. After that, enjoy Trang-style breakfast at local cafés. Head to Canopy Walk at Botanical Garden. |
| Afternoon | Head to Ton Te waterfall, trekking for 20 minutes up to the most beautiful sight of the waterfall. |
| To get there: | The morning market is only 10 minutes walk from Thumrin Thana Hotel and 5 minutes from Thumrin Hotel. Local cafés can be found near both hotels, map available at Tour Service Counter. To get to Canopy walk and Ton Te waterfall, van rental available. Please contact our Tour Service Counter. |
| Day 4 | Trang-style breakfast – Aquarium – Kantang District |
| Morning | Trang-style breakfast at local café. After that head to the Aquarium at Rajmongkala beach. |
| Afternoon | Learn a part of Trang’s history at Phraya Rasadanupradit Museum in Kantang District. The district itself used to be a main commercial area and an important port 50 years ago. Great river view and seafood restaurants are among other highlights of Kantang. |
| To get there: | The aquarium is only 30 minutes drive from Trang city. From the aquarium to Kantang district, a 40-minute drive is required. A comfortable way to travel to the area is by renting a van. |
| Day 5 | Emerald Pond – Hot Waterfall |
| Morning | Head to Emerald Pond in Krabi province, a spectacular natural pond. It is the best place for swimming, trekking, and family picnic. |
| Afternoon | After that, head to the Hot Waterfall, one of natural wonders where you can relax in 50-degree waterfall. Let’s the hot water release your tiredness and worries. |
| To get there: | These 2 attractions are in Krabi Province, 1.30 hr from the city of Trang. The most convenient way to travel is by renting a van. Package tour is also available at Tour Service Counter. |
